Avocado toast is a heart-healthy and diet friendly breakfast staple. Besides making an Instagram worthy food pic, it packs a lot of nutritious punch with protein, fiber, and healthy fats. It also may surprise you to hear that Avocado toast has been around since the late 1800s. [I feel inclined to share that I have been eating avocado toast way before it crossed your discover feed on Instagram.] There are many different recipes for avocado toast that expand beyond the basic avocado spread on a slice of toast, one of which is with tomato and balsamic vinegar.
Ingredients
Wheat Bread – 2 slices
Wholly Guacamole Minis – 1 container
Beefsteak Tomato – 1 (not shown above)
Himalayan Pink Salt – to taste
Balsamic Vinegar – to taste
Step 1: Toast & cut 4 slices off the tomato
Step 2: Spread the guacamole on the toast
Step 3: Apply tomato slices & balsamic vinegar and salt to taste
